NHS Wales Award FAQs
FAQs
How do I Enter?
Hover over ‘Awards’, and click ‘Enter Awards’. You’ll need to download the form to fill out offline.
Please note there is one form for all the categories. If entering multiple categories you will need to submit a separate form for each, please clearly state which category you are submitting in the box provided.
How can I view the judging criteria before submitting?
The entry form is split into two parts, with the judges looking for evidence of the following:
- What is the background to your entry? Consider the situation prior to the initiative starting and what the factors were that prompted the entry.
- What did you want to achieve? Consider why the anticipated outcomes were important to delivering sustainable healthcare and how the project would contribute to this aim.
- What did you do / what was your solution?
- What are the benefits or outcomes from your project? (realised or projected). This does not need to be complete but there does need to be a demonstrable change from the status quo.
How to enter more than one category?
You will need to download the submission form and complete.
There is a box at the top of the form asking for which category your nomination is for.
What’s the next steps after submitting my entry?
The deadline for entries is March 2026. This will allow a period for our judges to assess the entries.
We aim to have the shortlist ready to publish in April 2026 and will announce through all our social channels, as well as getting in touch with the shortlisted entries directly.
